2021 Year of the Ox
The new year is approaching. In the Feng Shui calendar 2021 begins on 3 February. 2021 is the Year of the Ox. In the 9 Star Ki the central energy will be occupied by the 6 Star (yang metal and the father). The 6 Star represents work, power, success and the perseverance necessary to achieve these goals.
Directionally, the Duke 5 Star, moves into the South East sector. This area of the home needs to be kept clear, and the energy drained with metal. Travel to and from the South East during 2021 requires extra planning and care, and may wish to be avoided. If you live in the UK holidays to the Caribbean and Americas may be the best option!
2021 also sees us another year closer to the start of the 9 Period, which officially begins on February 4, 2024. We are so close to this period now that at Urban Feng Shui we are already taking the Flying Stars for the 9 Period into consideration as this is where they will settle in 3 years time for the next 20 years (until 2044). Period 9 is influenced by beauty, light, fire and the South.
